| just finished watching the game tape of our two playoff games (first and second round of dream league, against SFFD and endo ballers). we won the first game barely, 40-38. the second game we won, surprisingly, by a wider margin, though i cannot remember exactly what the score was.
lessons:
1) bend knees more on defense
2) survey the court *before* driving, anticipate one or two outlets
3) lower arc on shot
4) stay on toes more
5) against zone: use fake pass and try to pass/drive/shoot more decisively

| i was forced to take a myers-brigg test yesterday, and apparently i'm an ENTJ. very borderline on all dimensions, especially E/I and T/F.

| great xmas and xmas eve.
xmas eve: jamba cup II. house and i won 11-8, 11-7 (roughly). we also played round-robin 2s; ian and i nearly won the last one. dinner at home; broccoli with questionable chicken; sour soup we pretended was sweet and tasted okay; spare ribs; steamed fish; other stuff; learned difference between rock cod and cod in chinese; practiced cantonese for a while; spent 30 min searching for dad's bluetooth headset using iphone as a treasure hunter uses a metal detector, going inside and out of the house, nearly rummaging the trash can, headset turned out to be on the stairs.
xmas: afternoon and dinner at home, fred's steak without an oven thermometer or accurate cooking temperature, mom incorrectly teaching me how to say "1/3" as "1*3" and discovering the mistake only when i asked how to say "1/10", salad last minute from menlo park safeway, roland's mashed potatoes, corn, garlic bread, gift exchange where mom predictably said the sweater was not warm enough because of the short sleeves, roland liked his volleyball stuff, dad's shirt one size off. da vinci code the movie. mom being mom and wanting to skip the opening chase scene, then asking questions every few minutes.
